[Forestry 101] Forestry Mulching & Tree Stumps

Welcome to your next “Forestry 101” lesson of the Farming Simulator Academy! Today, we’ll show you how to get rid of stumps. After chopping down trees, tree stumps are left on the field. If you want to plant new trees or use the land for other purposes, you need to get rid of the leftovers, first. It's quick and easy.

What you need

  • You need a tractor to operate the mulcher.
  • You need a forestry mulcher to get rid of the stump.

Equipment Selection (recommendation) 

  • Tractor: John Deere 7810
  • Weight: John Deere PickUp 9000
  • Mulcher: TMC CANCELA TFK 200

Let’s go to work!

Step 1: Mount the machine

Position the rear of the tractor behind the mulching tool and press the respective button to mount the machine. Drive to the stump.

Step 2: Mulch it!

Lower the mulcher and turn it on. Now, you just drive over the stump. If it is too high, you can adjust the mulcher accordingly. And that's it.
