More than that, new constructions on Catuaí become available and require you to deliver resources. All together, you can create a whole new business network based on roasted beans, delicious fruit, and more. Oh, and a dinosaur. Let's check it out!

A productive economy built around the new region

In the icon overview, you can see what the expansion includes: coffee goods, alpaca products, banana products and material-based items, plus Fungicide as part of the wider crop-care ecosystem. Some recipes also support optional ingredients, adding more flexibility to selected production chains.

Altogether, Beans & Alpacas adds a more connected production economy: crops become processed goods, alpaca fleece becomes textile and furniture products, and raw materials become paint for new community-focused tasks. Whether you focus on coffee, bananas, alpacas or construction materials, Catuaí gives you new reasons to build, process and expand. Have fun!

Coffee: From Cherries to Tiramisu

Turn your harvest into yummy drinks and desserts!

Coffee starts with harvested Coffee Cherries and continues through the Coffee Processing Plant. From there, the chain expands into products such as Coffee Bags, Packed Coffee, Roasted Coffee, Coffee Capsules and Coffee Beverage.

But coffee does not stop at the cup: The production chain also connects to other goods, including Coffee Yogurt and Tiramisu. With the Roastery, Coffee Shop, Dairy and Bakery involved, coffee becomes one of the central production branches in the expansion.

Bananas: Wash, Process, Package

From Banana Boxes to Snacks, Jam, Cake & Chips

Bananas add another major production opportunity: After harvest, they move through the Banana Washing Station and are nicely collected in Banana Boxes, which then feed into further processing.

From there, bananas can become Banana Snacks, Banana Milk, Fried Banana, Banana Jam, Banana Cake and Banana Chips. The Canning Factory, Banana Drying Station, Dairy and Bakery all connect to this branch, turning them into a wide range of new, edible products. And, of course, more profit for you.

Alpaca Fleece For Wooly Products

Create plush toys, pillows, socks and furniture

Alpacas also feed into the production economy. Their Alpaca Fleece can be processed in the Spinnery to create Alpaca Wool, which then continues into further production.

The Tailor Shop turns alpaca materials into Alpaca Plush, Alpaca Pillow and Alpaca Socks. The chain also connects to Carpentry, where Alpaca Chair and Alpaca Stool add a furniture branch to the product lineup.

Pigments, Resin & Paint

A material chain for repainting houses

Beans & Alpacas also introduces a material-focused chain. Copper Ore, Resin and Pigments lead into Paint Production, resulting in Paint Buckets that connect the production system to repainting select houses.

The Sawmill provides Resin, while the Pigment Factory produces Pigments. Together, these materials create a new branch that adds  another practical use for establishing production chains on Catuaí. When you deliver the paint to houses in need of a repaint, you can help the town to brush it up a little.

New Construction: Research Station

Education at the edge of Catuaí

At the edge of the map, away from the main road and surrounded by lush rainforest, you can take on a new construction project: the Research Station. When completed, you add a traditional regional architectural style with wooden construction and a thatched roof to Catuaí.

Once finished, you can enter the research station and learn more about the region. Inside, informational posters cover trees and bushes, sugarcane, coffee, alpacas, traditional instruments and other regional characteristics, making the station in the rainforest a cool place to discover.

Oh, and let's not forget another special kind of discovery. Multiple, to be exact. All over Catuaí, there are dinosaur bones hidden in the soil. Meaning, yes, you'll uncover them by working the fields. They're not just lying around for you to stumble across them, as if nobody else cared to pick them up while walking around with their phone and a coffee cup in hand.

Once you collect bones, they will be added to the skeleton display at the local museum. When you completed the skeleton, there will also be a special reward. One you can wear. It's fluffy. But you have to find out yourself.
