If you are handy with the land scaping tool you can carve out your own quarry and fill with stone then offset the cost.
You can use the placeable Stone Quarry and operate your own stone production. It's dangerous and an expensive investment but the rewards come to those who wait!

Here's a quick rundown of the production line;
Mine stones from the ground with the Stone Quarry Production. Then haul your stones to the Washplant rinsing with water creating Paydirt. Process the Paydirt at the refinery into Gold, Silver, Gems and even Diamonds!
You can sell these raw valuables straight to the market or turn them into products for an even larger profit at the Jewelry Production facility.
